THERE ARE NO LOSERS WHEN BILLIONAIRES RACE!!!
His name is Slim, but his pockets are on swole. Mexican Billionaire Carlos Slim, beats out Bill Gates and Warren Buffet for top spot in the Billionaires Cup. Slim reigns supreme for the second year in a row. Slim's forturne is derived from his mining and telecommunictions business, which are simply monopolies. You want to use a phone in Mexico or dig a hole, your check is going straight to Slim, do not pass go, do not collect $200 peso's. While Warren Buffets company spiked 22 percent it was still not enough to catch up. Gates Microsoft stock fell 8.4 percent which means Gates is still a Billionaire but is still a little slim. Gates is worth about $26 Billion, Buffet almost doubles him at $46 billion, and Slim is coming in at $70 billion. At the end of the day no matter how many billions you have, if you ever reach a billion, you probably CAN BUY HAPPINESS.HOW CAN ONE MAN HAVE ALL THAT POWER?
Who do you ask, Lebron James. Probably the most single powerful man in all of professional sports. Now when I say powerful I'm not talking political like health care reform, or anything of such. I am talking the ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR. Now lets jump right in. When looking at an sports franchise wins equals dollars, and when Lebron in playing on your team your team does two things, wins games and makes money. When Lebron James leaves your team, your team does two things, loses games and money, point, blank, period. Since his departure from the Cleveland Cav's the franchise has crumbled. They are currently the worst team in the NBA with a record of 8-45. Last week they broke an NBA record of 25 straight losses. At this point in the season last year the Cav's had less losses then they had wins this year. If wins make you money then losses are sure going to create a hole in your pocket. "Based on a review of attendance and fan cost indices for the Cleveland Cavaliers in both the 7 years pre-LeBron and 7 years with LeBron, as well as a review of recent NBA ‘revenue-to-franchise value’ ratios and Consumer Price Index data, the Cavaliers franchise is at least $60 million more valuable with King James ruling their court…and more likely $100 million more valuable." So in short one man cost a Sports Franchise $160 million. And while some say money isn't everything, to a sports franchise its the only thing. The money you spend on talent will always transcend into dollars, and the lost of the most talented man in sports would created the inverse reaction. When you lose a SuperMan type figure like Lebron James you can bet all hell will break loose. Going from first to worst in a split second would turn anyone against superman, and with his decision to play for the Miami Heat that is exactly what happened. While Lebron James decision has made him a marked man, he seems to be happier then ever playing along side Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Wednesday, February 9, 2011
The Lap of Luxury on "STERIODS"
In the world of luxury mash-ups, we have seen the Porsche Kitchen, the Hermes Helicopter and theVersace private jet.
Now comes the Lamborghini yacht.
Fenice Milano, the auto aftermarket specialists, and Mauro Lecchie, the Italian designer known for producing cars, have teamed up to create a prototype of a yacht inspired by Lamborghini. As you can see from the pictures, the wedge-shaped hull has all the sinister-looking details we have come to expect from Lambos–the sloping nose, the angled vents, the roaring engines.
With giant twin engines and body made of wood and Kevlar, the Lambo boat “combines high performance and low power consumption,” according to its makers. The company hasn’t given out the exact engine specs or speed.
Driving a Lambo boat is likely to be far more comfy than squeezing behind the wheel of its namesake. The cockpit has two outside stern decks, a double sofa bed, a bar and entertainment center with large windows. The interior also has a bathroom and separate shower, in addition to a guest bedroom with bathroom on the bow. (Unlike another new yacht, which will spray champagne from its showers, the Lambo shower appears to be limited to water).
There is no information yet on the boat’s price or availability. But it is likely that the buyers will similar to the Lambo demographic–young, male and loaded.

" THE SKINNY JEAN EXPERIENCE"
OK, OK, OK, The movement of the skinny jean has lasted a little
longer then some of us may have anticipated. Over the past 2 or 3 years the
"Jean" has taken over Hip Hop, Corporate America, and High Schools all over the nation. They even sell them for toddlers, but that's another story. Back to the task at hand. So during a trip to the KOP mall I said to myself, "Self you need to experience the "SJ". But why? Shit I don't really know, maybe it was the kids hanging out in the food court, or Weezy jumping out of his Maybach rocking his. I feel like I'm a pretty fashion forward guy that doesn't following trends but, what the hell, I know I could pull it off, if I really wanted. Plus I've been in the Gym like a mad man so at least I could gauge my progress. So as I walked into the GAP I looked around for the SJ department. After looking, better yet stalling I noticed the SJ section, it was on the first table as you walked into the store. Now I was a Business Major so I took a couple marketing classes, and I would have to say they are still very relevant using the product placement theory. Now as I looked for my size (38X33) I realize that Gap actually makes a premium denim. The Jean felt pretty good with a very dark rinse that I found to be worthy yours truly. It was the 1969 series. After I put the SJ on, I was shocked, they were a little skinny, (True to its Name) but fit kind of OK. After walking to the Bigger Mirror outside the dressing room I realized I didn't feel comfortable with the fit. I think if I really loved the look I could pull it off, but with all that said the Skinny Jean isn't for me.... But if the Skinny Jean is for you def try the Gap Brand. Here some photos of my EXPERIENCE.
